Lessons from the trees- on acceptance and "being in" every season of your life

As I walk today, I noticed most trees lost their leaves. As if they prepare to show self and their true nature to the world. Their trunks appear naked and I think to myself ," how brave of you to walk naked, to show yourself as your true nature with all your knots and wrinkles". You are beautiful. As I notice the seasons and how the trees gracefully, without fear or complaints go through them. I think of self and wonder in what season am I in? What can trees teach me about going through the seasons of my life? How can I meet every season of my life with strong roots and with flexible "arms" to face winds and storms gracefully?

I am not in my spring, planting seeds, waiting for life to blossom, not knowing the mystery seed planted. I am not in the summer of my life, with sunshine growing fruits on my leaves.

I am moving slowly in the the fall of my life. In this new season I keep letting go to leaves as a preparation of revealing in the winter my soul and true nature to the world. Every leaf is letting go to something that has met its purpose. Letting go to, letting go, letting go. How can I learn to let go just like the tree, with grace , effortless, to let the leaves dance in the wind.
