I am starting a new weekly class and my teacher is presenting the principle of only going 60% of the way. Only giving 60%, only putting 60% of the effort. Under do. What a concept to have in a world that requires not 100% . Wait i have to correct that the world requires 110% of effort or self, as if you have collect a debt of you, from your future life.

Would we give more if you were only required less? What would we find in the slower, gentler approach? What discoveries would me make about self? In only giving others 60% how would our life be like in getting to keep 40 % for ourselves?

What a concept for all human being, that we do not need to give it all to be worthy? I find this concept more realistic and healthy for people, that it creates less pressure, and just enough pressure to not be complacent. That we can resource self and create a different narrative of worth and different expectations that might work even better than 100%.

Maybe this will help the world with its productivity anxiety. Descartes the great philosopher stated "I think therefore I exist", however the modern world is more like "I am busy and productive therefore I exist". This cycle transform in Humans Beings in Human doings... and in some ways they never get to be and exist.

Give it a try, next time only give 60%, practice underdoing, go slower, go gentler, do less, give less whatever your 100% obsession or habit is. See how it is like , what you might discover.
